AWAK Mid-Year Dinner | 2026

An evening of meaningful conversations, purposeful networking, and a shared commitment to the future of our profession.

It was a privilege to attend the Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK) Mid-Year Dinner, last friday, held under the theme “Leading with Value, Building Trust, Driving Excellence.”
I was particularly honoured to listen to the insightful address by the Chief Guest, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya , CBS, PhD, Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development. Her reflections on values-driven leadership, integrity, and public service were both timely and inspiring.
The evening served as a powerful reminder that true leadership is not defined by the position we hold, but by the value we create, the trust we inspire, and the lasting impact we leave behind.
My sincere appreciation to AWAK for convening professionals committed to advancing ethical leadership, empowering women in the profession, and fostering excellence within accountancy.
Together, we continue to build a stronger profession. Together, we create IMPACT.
