During the signing H.E Fernandez Baraza, OGW observed that the agreement will help institutionalize the cordial working relationships with the Institute and will go a long way in promoting professional growth and best practices at the County Government of Kakamega. He challenged the Institute to enhance its voice and support safeguarding Devolution in the country that has continuously faced clawbacks.

On behalf of the Institute, the Chairman CPA Philip Kakai reiterated the Institute’s support and commitment to enhance public finance management in the Country, effective delivery of Devolution in line with its credo of Credibility Professionalism and Accountability. The Chair was accompanied by the Vice Chair of the Institute CPA Prof. Elizabeth Kalunda Muvui, Council Members CPA Risper Olick, CPA Olive Gitau, CPA Wycliff Bichang’a alongside its national leadership; the branch leadership led by the branch chair CPA Diminah Chikamai and the Secretariat led by Hillary Onami.
