On 17th April 2026, ICPAK, led by Council Members CPA Chrispus Mbogo and CPA Wycliff Bichang’a paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Eldoret, Prof. Thomas Cheruyoit. The delegation was received by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration & Finance Prof. Wilson Ng’etich.

The discussions centered on potential areas of collaboration, including partnership opportunities for the ICPAK 7th Research Conference scheduled for August 2026, consideration of discounted programmes for CPA members pursuing studies at the University, strengthening linkages for accounting students to access professional opportunities, and capacity building initiatives for university staff.

Also in attendance were members of the ICPAK North Rift Branch including Vice Chairman CPA Dr. Ben Samoei, Secretary and CPD Convenor CPA Nelson Kore, Youth Representative CPA Elijah Yego, Uasin Gishu Representative CPA Vincent Limo, Nandi Representative CPA Collins Too, Former Branch Chairman CPA William Koech and ICPAK Secretariat.

Both parties agreed to hold regular consultative meetings to review progress and coordinate the implementation of the agreed outcomes.
