I will address the typical challenges that face CPAs including; low remuneration, training gaps, employee turnover & satisfaction issues, and advocate for research and knowledge sharing, to help;

• CPAs manage and protect their intellectual capital.
• ICPAK become a resource for Implementing Knowledge Management Frameworks.
• ICPAK plays a leading role in helping accounting firms and other CPAs to manage and protect their intellectual capital.

I will help improve member experience as a way of distinguishing ourselves as a professional body by;

• Empowering branches through increasing funding to branches and devolving governance for the branches to increase brand visibility.
• Advocate for a mentorship certification program for CPA finalists to undergo to gain experience.
• Enhance TAPEF and review subscriptions and levies with affirmative action measures, use the available networks to follow up, and lobby for a legal framework to reserve member opportunities.
• Engage/petition stakeholders to implement the remuneration order for practicing accountants and non-practicing allowance to non-practicing accountants. Create a 360° view for members, (Re)design engaging member journey maps & form a continuous member feedback loop.

As a council member, I will;

• Advocate for the development of strong working relationships with other leading accountancy bodies around the globe, to increase global opportunities for our members.
• Work towards placing ICPAK as an influencer in the global accounting profession, & help promote excellence in technical & ethical standards.

Through my membership in the council, I will;

• Help drive research and promote Intelligent automation strategies to enable CPAs to partner with technology to optimize workflow processes and problem-solving.
• Help identify trends and impacts of emerging technologies and how ICPAK can help upskill members and new CPAs with Technological Literacy Skills.

As a council member, I will;

• Uphold the sense of identity, benefits, and rights that members derive from membership.
• Help ICPAK consider how best to create and maintain its technical and operational capacity to meet the needs of the full range of its members.

As a council member, I will;

• Be a role model to members and inspire them to harness their strengths with regard to CPA-led business planning.
• Help to create valuable and positive change at ICPAK with the end goal of developing members into leaders.
• Support the development of trained and qualified professionals.
• Connect the member’s sense of identity to the mission and the collective identity of ICPAK.
